How the Luna(Blood moon) Eclipse would affect Nigeria and West Africa today

ABOUT THE LUNAR ECLIPSE TONIGHT ๐ŸŒ•๐ŸŒ–๐ŸŒ—๐ŸŒ‘๐ŸŒ’๐ŸŒ“๐ŸŒ”๐ŸŒ™

*1. WHAT IS IT?* ๐Ÿค”
A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth comes between the sun and the moon. It can only occur during a full moon. Remember a full moon always rises in the EAST (sort of).
*2. WHAT TIME WILL IT BE VISIBLE IN NIGERIA?*๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ••๐Ÿ•–๐Ÿ•—๐Ÿ•˜๐Ÿ•™
The eclipse will start few minutes after 7 pm and reach a maximum around 8:20pm. It will take a similar duration for the eclipse to end. In total about 5 hours!
*3. DO YOU NEED SPECIAL SHADES TO WATCH?*๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿคฉ
The answer is no. Lunar eclipse can be viewed with the naked yes. Just look to the skies and have fun!!
*4. WILL THE WEATHER BE GOOD?*โ›ˆ๐ŸŒฉโ˜

We are expecting partly cloudy weather tonight with less than 30% chance of rain for those along the coast (lucky you coasters!). For the middle and northern sectors, the chance of thunderstorms is higher. So it depends on where you are. Everyone will get a glimpse though!! 5 hours is a long time and the weather is bound to be good at some point during the period.

5. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU SEE IN THE SKIES TONIGHT?*โœจโ˜„
Mar, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter will all be on display in addition to the stars. CLUE: Venus is always the brightest object in the sky whenever it is visible. Look for it and let me know if you see it

6. *FINALLY?*
Remember this will be the longest lasting lunar eclipse this century. The next one will be in 2123. So look sharp!
